Přidal 28.07.2011
London, 26th July 2011 – DEK has appointed Grayling, the global public relations, government relations, investor relations and events consultancy, to manage its corporate profile globally with a particular focus on Europe and Asia. Grayling will develop and execute a strategic media relations and marketing communications programme, while also collaborating with the DEK team to provide a number of initiatives for DEK customers designed to enhance productivity and performance.
DEK is a global leader in screen and stencil printing solutions and is at the heart of the world’s electronics assembly market, where it has delivered enabling technologies for a wide range of applications in automotive, computer, medical and consumer markets, for over four decades. The company is also rapidly growing its presence in the field of alternative energy with a quickly- expanding solar and fuel cell business. Founded in the UK with commercial headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, the company has developed proven partnerships with numerous leading electronics firms and has established Centres of Excellence throughout the world.
Grayling’s brief is to raise the profile of DEK in each of its core global territories and markets, highlighting the company’s proven technology leadership in its respective fields and its status as a UK success story on the worldwide manufacturing stage. Grayling will work alongside DEK global marketing director, Karen Moore-Watts, to develop marketing strategies and content that will appeal to and support the goals of DEK‘s global customer base. The campaign will combine online and offline PR and marketing techniques, and includes digital marketing and advertising placement. DEK will also call on Grayling to manage internal communications across its operations, preserving its close-knit culture as it continues its rapid international expansion.
Karen Moore-Watts, global marketing director, DEK commented: “We see the effective management of DEK’s well-respected brand as part of our competitive advantage. In addition to having wholly-owned offices in our key markets, we were very impressed with Grayling’s understanding of our business and the campaign theme they have developed. We feel confident that the team’s strategic approach will contribute to our growth and development objectives.”
James Acheson-Gray, managing director, International, Grayling, said: “Part of the challenge for companies like DEK operating in similar high technology areas is communicating complex technology in simple terms. In many ways, DEK is the great untold success story of UK manufacturing. Our work will focus on showcasing the differentiation of their offer while preserving an extremely strong internal culture as they continue their rapid expansion.
“For Grayling, this is the latest in a number of recent global wins for us and we are delighted to be working with DEK. This appointment further strengthens our technology portfolio and will provide opportunities to illustrate our expertise within this sector.”
Grayling’s European programme will be led by senior consultant, Andy Crisp, and the team in Asia will be led by managing director, Christina Koh.
